The year...1981

A pioneer with a love for Squash is where it all began. Creating a league system for his squash team, a membership system for the leisure centre, our humble Norman Guiver was at the forefront of technology in the Leisure industry with his company Microcache.

1980s - 1990s

With the rise of the private clubs, there was a growing need to manage club memberships. The public grew more concerned with health and fitness to the point where Leisure centres were becoming a commercial proposition and computers were driving efficiencies.

1999

MicroCache sold out to Gladstone MRM Ltd

2000

Gladstone MRM Ltd purchases Membertrack

2001

The Membertrack product was combined with the Gladstone ClubmanNT and formed the industry-leading product PLUS2 which dominated the market.

2010

Gladstone was bought out by Jonas and set out to release a broad set of products and solutions.

2015

Gladstone Signs a 3 year sponsorship with Sporta. Working with industry leaders to design and develop solutions that meet the demands of the marketplace.

2016

Gladstone360 is born, the ground-breaking product is launched and Gladstone is rebranded.

2017

Gladstone is recognised as an industry leading Leisure software supplier and is a finalist in the UKactive Flame Awards.

2017

Gladstone works with Impact to identify the opportunity for Health intervention software and a new solution called Health is launched.

Gladstone and SDA merge. SDA developed leading private gym software; LeisurePoint and Clubcentric for David Lloyd. LeisurePoint is rebranded to GladstoneOne and is designed to meet the demands of smaller clubs who require a robust hosted solution.

2018

Gladstone releases 'GDPR Ready' versions across all their product range to make it easier for customers to respond to the new regulations and partners with ClearComm.

Gladstone releases its new module 'Prospects', developed to help operators with finding and securing new customers. Allowing staff to interact with customers using a tablet.

2018 & Beyond

Gladstone begins its plans to reinvent Leisure Software. It's vision for 2021 a new SaaS platform! Focusing on the development of Gladstone360 and GladstoneOne.
